UK Defence Minister had to cancel a trip to Odesa, Ukraine, last week due to concerns over his safety after Russia learned of his location. Grant Shapps, along with UK army chief Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, planned to visit Odesa as part of a three-day trip to Ukraine. Both Shapps and Radakin, held meetings with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and army chief Oleksandr Syrsky, just before leaving for Odesa. However, Just before the delegation was due to leave Odesa the trip was cancelled because the “Russians had become aware of his plans,” Sunday Times reported. Watch the video to know more.
