Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, said on Friday that he hopes for "reconciliation" with the Royal Family, five years after stepping back from royal duties with his wife, Meghan Markle, and relocating to the United States. In an interview with the BBC, Harry revealed that his relationship with his father, King Charles III, has become strained, especially following his recent legal defeat over security arrangements in the UK.

Harry, speaking to the BBC after losing his legal battle against the British government's decision to revoke his police protection in the UK, said he was "devastated" by the court's ruling.

The Duke of Sussex revealed that his father, King Charles III, "won't speak to me because of this security stuff," but added that he no longer wished to fight and was mindful of how much time the King may have left.
