Twenty-eight-year-old Kylie Page, the adult star who was found dead at her residence in California on June 25, had just reached 60 days of sobriety five days before her death, a report has claimed.
According to TMZ, Page, legally known as Kylie Pylant, had been taking her Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings seriously and even stepped up to lead some sessions herself.
Page dabbled in a variety of different drugs since she was a teenager, the report claimed, and she eventually went to rehab and lived in a sober house to get back on the right track.
The film star previously lost two of her uncles to addiction, sources told the outlet.
As the pornstar’s death was reported, investigators at the scene found a slew of drug paraphernalia, including fentanyl, on the spot.
According to a report with the New York Post, investigators also found sexual photos of her and various men strewn about.
The reason for Page’s death was expected to be an accidental drug overdose.
Her family knew about her struggles with addiction long before she rose to stardom after being featured in a 2017 Netflix mini-series about the porn industry where she opened up about her battle.
The New York Post stated that Page starred in more than 200 adult films during her nine years in the industry.
Soon after her death, her family was raising money to cover funeral expenses, including transporting Page’s body from California to the family’s home in the Midwest.
“Kylie was a daughter who loved hard, a sister who never let go, and a friend who showed up without being asked. She was the kind of person who made you feel like family — no matter who you were," the fundraising page stated.
