Amid indications that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may respond to the debate on Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address in the evening, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day soon after it reassembled at 5 pm on Wednesday.
The Chair adjourned the House amid repeated disruptions by the opposition over a variety of issues with sources saying women MPs from the opposition were planning to gherao Modi during his address.
