Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is likely to meet US President Donald Trump later this month, according to Pakistani media.
Sharif will be accompanied by Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, who dictates policies in Pakistan, in his meeting with Trump, Geo News reported.
This meeting will come months after Trump hosted Munir at the White House. The lunch meeting was the first time a US president had hosted the head of Pakistan’s army, widely regarded as the most powerful figure in the country, at the White House unaccompanied by senior Pakistani civilian officials.
