OPSC OCS 2026 registration extended till March 12
The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has extended the application deadline for the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied can now submit their forms until March 12, 2026 through the official OPSC website.The extension gives aspirants additional time to complete the online registration and upload required documents. The OCS examination is conducted to recruit candidates for Group A and Group B posts in the Odisha state administration. OPSC OCS vacancy details and eligibility
The OCS recruitment will fill posts in services such as Odisha Administrative Service, Odisha Police Service, Odisha Revenue Service, and other allied departments under the state government.To apply for the examination, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
The minimum age required is 21 years, while the upper age limit is 38 years. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.Applicants must also have knowledge of the Odia language. Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak Odia and must have studied the language at school level or passed an equivalent test.
Selection process and exam schedule
The OCS recruitment process is conducted in three stages.

According to the current schedule, the preliminary examination is expected to be held on June 7, 2026. Candidates who clear the prelims will be eligible to appear for the main examination, which will be announced later.
