In a shocking incident that unfolded on 26 July 2024, a Florida man returned home from a long shift to witness a devastating scene. His 35-year-old wife, a nurse by profession, was caught having sex with her 15-year-old stepson on their living room sofa.

According to a New York Post report, on that fateful night, Alexis Vaughn Yates had put her two young children to bed before joining her stepson in the living room. They smoked a THC vape, played games, and watched movies. To set the mood, Yates turned on a horror film. Unexpectedly, her husband returned home to find his wife and son unclothed and embracing.

The boy later recounted that Yates had made advances, stating, “The movie is boring…I have not been able to have sex for two weeks…I am on my period but I am feeling very horny." She then initiated physical contact, and despite the boy’s initial hesitation, the encounter escalated. Yates removed her underwear and proceeded to engage in unprotected sex with her stepson. The traumatic scene was abruptly interrupted by the husband’s return.

In disbelief, the father immediately took his son to his grandparents’ house. On the way, he expressed his heartbreak by saying, “You have ruined my life." The incident was not reported to the police by the husband, but another family member later filed a complaint, leading to an investigation that uncovered further inappropriate behaviour.

Reports revealed that this was not an isolated incident. Yates had previously referred to the boy as her “boy toy" and made suggestive comments after gym sessions, implying they looked like a couple. Following the investigation, Yates’ nursing license was revoked, and she now faces charges for engaging in sexual relations with a minor aged 12 to 16.

Despite her claims of innocence in court, evidence and witness testimonies paint a different picture, indicating a pattern of predatory behaviour.
