Rohini Acharya, daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, quits politics and disowns her family after RJD's poor performance in the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, on Saturday announced to quit politics and cut ties with her family a day after the party suffered a major setback, securing only 25 seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections.
In a post on X, Rohini Acharya wrote that she has been asked to quit politics and disown her family by Sanjay Yadav and Rameez, therefore, she is taking all the blame.
“I’m quitting politics and I’m disowning my family… This is what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez had asked me to do …nd I’m taking all the blame’s," Rohini wrote in her post on X.
