Kash Patel, Trump's Blue-Eyed Boy, 'Visible At Nightclubs Far More Than In FBI Headquarters'

FBI Director Kash Patel has been allegedly largely absent from the bureau headquarters and spending more time in the nightclubs, an ex-official claimed.

FBI Director Kash Patel has come under criticism over his lack of involvement in his current job, as a former bureau official questioned his alleged absence from the office and repeated nightclub visits.

Frank Figliuzzi, former FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence under Robert Mueller, spoke to MSNBC on Friday and claimed that the current atmosphere inside the bureau is “chaos".

“Reportedly, he’s been visible at nightclubs far more than he has been on the seventh floor of the Hoover building. And there are reports that daily briefings to him have been changed from every day to maybe twice weekly," he claimed.

Several media reports have claimed that Patel has been dedicating his time away from Washington DC, dividing his weeks between the Hoover Building and his home in Las Vegas.

“So this is both a blessing and a curse. Because if he’s really trying to run things without his experience, without any experience level, things could be bad. If he’s not plugged in, things could be bad. But he’s allowing agents to run things so we don’t know where this is going," Figliuzzi said.

“But the one word that keeps coming back at me from inside is that the building is chaos. People don’t know what’s happening from day to day," he added.

Recently, Senate Democrats called for an official investigation into Patel’s use of FBI resources, especially his use of the agency’s private jets.

According to CBS News, the US Government Accountability Office may soon look into how much his travel costs, what the trips were for, and whether any personal travel was wrongly paid for by taxpayers.
