Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is expected to hit the big screens on Diwali 2024.

Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri have wrapped up the shoot for their film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri are all set to star together in Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. On March 27, the actors wrapped up the first schedule of the film's shoot. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is expected to hit the big screens on Diwali 2024.
Taking to Instagram, Kartik shared a picture of himself with Triptii from the sets and wrote, "Ting ting ting tiding ting ting. And we've wrapped up the 1st schedule #BhoolBhulaiyaa3. This small break between schedules is gonna make me impatient... Rooh Baba's Cape has some different magic.@aneesbazmee.”
Kartik Aaryan will reprise his role as Rooh Baba in the third installment of the horror comedy. In addition to Kartik and Triptii, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will also star Vidya Balan in the lead role, who will reprise her role as Manjulika from the fifirst installment of the franchise. Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), directed by Priyadarshan, also starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The second installment of the psychology horror comedy starred Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu in the lead roles.
In early February, Kartik Aaryan who played the character of Rooh Baba in 2022’s blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 took to his Instagram to announce the third film in the franchise while also informing that he will be sharing screen space with Vidya Balan. He'd posted a mash-up video of the two of them dancing to the popular Aami Je Tomaar song from their respective films and captioned it ‘And its happening. Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya This Diwali is going to be crackling.’
In late February, Kartik Aaryan took to social media to announce the induction of Triptii Dimri in the franchise. Dimrii was said to have Kiara Advani for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Elnaaz Norouzi, Naseeruddin Shah, Sara Ali Khan and Boman Irani are expected to make appearances, too.
Bazmee also directed the second part. The first part was helmed by Priyadarshan and featured Akshay Kumar alongside Vidya. In the second part, Kartik shared screen space with Tabu and Kiara Advani.
On expanding the franchise, producer Bhushan Kumar said, "The Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I'm very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik. Together, we are set to deliver a cinematic experience that will both honor the legacy of the franchise and bring double the laughter and thrill for the audience."
Apart from this, Kartik Aaryan recently wrapped up shooting for his forthcoming film Chandu Champion which, helmed by Kabir Khan, is based on the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his spirit of never giving up. Kartik Aaryan will also be seen in director Hansal Mehta's upcoming film Captain India and director Anurag Basu's next.
