Iranian cleric Alireza Arafi has been selected as a member of Iran’s Leadership Council following the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, according to a spokesperson for the Expediency Discernment Council.
Arafi, who is also a member of the Guardian Council, will serve on the Leadership Council alongside Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, reports said.
