As tensions continue to simmer over the Strait of Hormuz amid the West Asia conflict, Iranian missions across the world have posted AI-generated memes and parody videos on social media to troll US President Donald Trump.

In the latest example, the Iranian embassy in Hungary shared a viral AI-generated parody clip showing Trump attempting, and failing, to drive a tiny Tesla Cybertruck-style vehicle through a narrow passage symbolising the vital waterway.

The short clip, around 34 seconds long, is inspired by one of the most famous scenes from Austin Powers: Man of Mystery, where Austin Powers gets a small luggage cart hopelessly stuck in a tight hallway and spends an eternity awkwardly reversing and moving forward in a failed attempt to escape.

In the AI version shared by the Iranian embassy, Trump confidently drives into a narrow chokepoint meant to resemble Hormuz.

Within seconds, the tiny electric vehicle becomes wedged in the passage, forcing Trump into a clumsy series of reverses and turns that go nowhere.

The caption reads: “Trump’s attempt to pass through the Strait of Hormuz!” followed by a teasing emoji.

The Tesla-style vehicle is also widely seen as a nod to billionaire Elon Musk and the futuristic Cybertruck aesthetic, adding another layer of internet humour to the trolling video.

The clip has gone viral online, racking up over 8 lakh views as of Friday morning.

"lol Trump can’t move that fast, let alone think that fast! And you forgot all the makeup on his hands! Super funny, thank you for a good laugh," one social media user posted on X.

Another said, "My Sincere Apologies to my Favourite HERO Austin Powers for including that Lizard but it’s so TRUE and Tragic."

"Trump's 'big beautiful' Strait of Hormuz strategy: full speed ahead in a tiny Tesla cart... then immediately stuck, reversing, and crying for daddy Elon to save him. Even the tunnel said 'No entry, orange man!'," a user posted on X.

As the conflict shows little sign of easing, Iranian embassies have continued mocking the US President over his decisions.

On April 24, Iran’s diplomatic missions in India trolled Trump after he endorsed remarks describing India as a “hell-hole on the planet”, with sharp cultural pushback on social media.

The Iranian Consulate in Mumbai posted on X, suggesting a “cultural detox” for Trump. “Maybe someone should book a one-way cultural detox for Mr Trump. It might just reduce the random bakwaas (nonsense). Kabhi India aa ke dekho, phir bolna,” the post said.

Just a day earlier, the Iranian consulate in Russia took a swipe at US Vice President JD Vance-led delegation’s planned trip to Pakistan for the second round of talks was paused after ceasefire negotiations stalled.

The mission shared a video on X showing a pole vaulter attempting a jump but failing to clear the bar and falling back on the same side. The post was captioned, “JD Vance’s trip to Pakistan.”
