US President Donald Trump recently said at an event that internet people like Elon Musk hated him during his first term but are now kissing his a**. His remark came while he was addressing the University of Alabama on May 1, 2025.
Trump at first appreciated Musk and referred to him as “terrific." He then highlighted the shift of sentiment of Silicon Valley elites towards him from the time he became the president for the first time to him being the current president.
