INDIA Bloc Floor Leaders To Hold Meeting On Dec 1
Ahead of the winter session, the INDIA bloc floor leaders will also hold a meeting at the office of Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge in Parliament. The meeting will be held on December 1.
Before the session commences, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday demanded a debate in Parliament on air pollution across several cities in the country.
In an X post, Rahul Gandhi questioned the Centre and alleged “no urgency, plan, or accountability" for the air pollution problem. His post reads, “Every mother I meet tells me the same thing: her child is growing up breathing toxic air. They are exhausted, scared and angry. Modi ji, India’s children are choking in front of us. How can you stay silent? Why does your government show no urgency, no plan, no accountability?"
