A social media post claiming responsibility for a shooting outside a restaurant in Brampton, Canada, has gone viral, drawing attention to alleged links with criminal networks involving the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang and raising concerns among local residents. According to the post circulating online, an individual identifying himself as “Raja Pehalwan” claimed that he and an associate were behind the firing incident outside the Dal Roti restaurant.

The post further alleged that the action was intended as a warning to the restaurant owner. The message accused the owner of failing to pay wages owed to several students who worked there.

It claimed that attempts had been made to resolve the matter through discussion, but no action was taken.

Based on those allegations, the individuals behind the post portrayed the shooting as an act of pressure rather than a random attack.

The post also carried an explicit threat, stating that if the issue remained unresolved, future action would target the owner directly at his residence.

In addition to the claims surrounding the alleged wage dispute, the post referenced gangster Rohit Godara and described him as a close associate or “brother.”

It also issued warnings towards individuals allegedly avoiding communication with the group, suggesting consequences if they continued to ignore calls.

Several hashtags included in the post referenced names associated with gangsters and organised criminal groups, adding to speculation over possible gang involvement.

Social media users have widely shared screenshots of the message alongside videos that reportedly show rapid gunfire linked to the incident.

Reports circulating online have connected the episode to the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang. However, these claims remain unverified at this stage.

Authorities in Canada have not publicly confirmed any connection between the shooting and organised crime groups.

Investigators are examining the incident, including the authenticity of the social media claims and any possible motives behind the attack.

Local agencies continue to gather evidence and have urged caution regarding unverified information being shared online while the investigation remains ongoing.
