Silver Touch Technologies has won a long-term digital transformation contract from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India to develop, upgrade and manage its technology platforms and applications.

Silver Touch Technologies Limited has received a purchase order from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for a strategic digital transformation project, strengthening its presence in large-scale government technology programmes.

FSSAI, the apex food regulator under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has appointed Silver Touch as a Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the development, enhancement, operations and maintenance of its portals and applications.

Under the mandate, the company will develop new portals and mobile applications for Android and iOS, upgrade existing portals and dashboards, and transition systems to a microservices-based architecture. The scope also includes cloud deployment and management, API integrations with other ministries and departments, payment gateway integration, and the development of an AI-enabled multilingual chatbot.

The project further covers database management and architecture upgrades, implementation of a document compression system with scalable capacity of over 40 TB, and ongoing operations and maintenance under defined service level agreements (SLAs).

The contract is structured as a long-term engagement, spanning development and multi-year maintenance phases, providing revenue visibility and operational continuity for the company.

Commenting on the development, Executive Director Minesh V. Doshi said the order reinforces the company’s capabilities in enterprise portal development, cloud-native architecture, cybersecurity compliance and mission-critical system management, while strengthening its role in government digital transformation initiatives.

Shares of Silver Touch Technologies closed at ₹1,462.00 on the NSE, up 4.99% for the day.
