Pakistan’s Fake Propaganda Against India
The developments came after India’s military action terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. As many as 4 terror targets, including the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur (Pakistan’s Punjab province), were struck by Indian armed forces in Pakistan, while 5 targets were destroyed in PoK.
The Pakistani media has been spreading false propaganda ever since terror camps were destroyed by the Indian armed forces in response to the dastardly terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.
Since Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has unleashed a massive disinformation campaign on social media and mainstream media. Old videos of attacks carried out elsewhere were posted as recent attacks in India by the Pakistani military. Several such videos also claimed that India targeted civilians instead of the terrorists.
India’s PIB exposed one lie after another with an extensive fact-check campaign, bursting Pakistan’s lies.
On Wednesday, the Indian government and armed forces held a joint press conference and said that terror camps were specifically hit in the strikes and no military or civilian sites had been touched, further describing the nature of the retaliation as “non-escalatory".
The government, however, warned Pakistan against any misadventure that may escalate the situation.
