Escorts Kubota said improved reservoir levels from last year have guaranteed ample water supply, setting a promising outlook for the upcoming season. It has estimated sustained growth for the remainder of the financial year 2026.

Escorts Kubota Ltd. reported a 17.9% increase in its total sales in November, the company informed the stock exchanges on Monday, December 1. The stock recovered from the lows of the day after the sales announcement.

It sold a total of 10,580 tractors in November compared to 8,974 tractors in the same period last year.

Of these, its domestic sales included 10,122 units, up 15.9% from last year's 8,730 units.


Its exports increased 87.7% to 458 units in November from 244 units last year.

The company said the domestic tractor industry continued its upward trajectory in November, supported by government initiatives, reduced GST rates and subsidies on agricultural machinery, which have made tractors more affordable for farmers.

Retail sales experienced a notable increase as the kharif harvesting season came to a close and rabi sowing advanced smoothly, it said.

Earlier this month, Escorts Kubota reported its second quarter earnings. Its revenue increased 22.6% to ₹2,791.6 crore from ₹2,277 crore last year. Its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 56.6% to ₹359.5 crore and EBITDA margin expanded by 280 basis points to 12.8% from 10% in the year-ago period.

Shares of Escorts Kubota were trading 1% up at ₹3,856 apiece around 9.50 am on Monday. The stock has gained 16.9% this year, so far.
