Ceigall India, jointly with Sushee Infra Mining, has received four Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) for road construction projects worth a combined ₹2,149.62 crore in Arunachal Pradesh.
Ceigall India holds a 74% stake in the joint venture, while Sushee Infra Mining holds the remaining 26%. The LOAs were issued by MoRTH on August 17, 2026, according to the company's exchange filing.
All four projects have been awarded under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode and involve construction of stretches of NH-913, also known as the Frontier Highway, in Arunachal Pradesh.
The first order, worth ₹521 crore, involves construction of the road from 0.000 km to km 55.725 of the Huri-Taliha section of NH-913 to an intermediate lane. The project has a construction period of 36 months followed by a five-year maintenance period.
The second order, valued at ₹611.10 crore, covers construction of the road from 0.000 km to km 78.38 of the Sarli-Huri section of NH-913 to an intermediate lane. It has a 36-month construction period and a five-year maintenance period.
The third project, worth ₹525 crore, involves construction of the road from km 55.725 to km 113.25 of the Huri-Taliha section of NH-913 to an intermediate lane. The construction period is 48 months, followed by five years of maintenance.
The fourth order, valued at ₹492.52 crore, is for construction of the road from km 160.75 to km 209.90 of the Huri-Taliha section of NH-913 to an intermediate lane. The project has a 36-month construction period and a five-year maintenance period.
The company said a domestic entity awarded the orders and that neither the promoter/promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The contracts also do not fall under related-party transactions.
The latest orders follow Ceigall India's earlier communications dated March 11 and March 12, 2026, regarding the company's joint venture with Sushee Infra Mining.
On Monday, August 17, Ceigall India said the Delhi government's Public Works Department had cancelled a ₹330.84 crore tender, including GST, for strengthening and other works on roads under the South Maintenance Zone for 2026-27.
Ceigall had earlier emerged as the L1 bidder for the tender in June. The tender was cancelled in view of ‘documentary consideration’, according to the company.
Q1 results
Ceigall India reported a 15.5% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹61 crore for the June quarter, compared with ₹53 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations increased 16% year-on-year to ₹970 crore from ₹838 crore.
Operating performance was stronger, with Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) rising 32% to ₹143.8 crore from ₹108.9 crore. EBITDA margin expanded by nearly 200 basis points to 14.8%, compared with 13% in the year-ago period.
Shares of Ceigall India fell up to 4.4% on Tuesday morning and were trading at ₹308.45 as of 11.19 am, down 2.37%. The stock has gained more than 13% so far in 2026 and about 23% over the past 12 months.
