Shares of Lenskart Solutions Ltd. and GMR Airports Ltd. saw a mixed reaction to large trades that took place in these stocks before markets opened on Wednesday, June 3.

The block deals took place in the pre-market block deal window.


Lenskart Block Deal

SoftBank Vision Fund sold 5.7 crore shares, representing a 3.3% equity stake in eyewear retailer Lenskart, through a block deal worth ₹2,873 crore. The shares were sold at an average price of ₹508.55 apiece. Societe Generale purchased 1.4 crore shares in the transaction for ₹698 crore.

At the end of the March quarter, promoter entities held 17.55% stake in Lenskart Solutions, while public shareholders held 62.29%. Among public shareholders, PI Opportunities Fund holds a 4.48% stake, and Kedaara Capital holds a 1.18% stake.

Within funds that hold between 3% to 4% stake in the company, include Alpha Wave Ventures Ii, Lp (3.7%), Alpha Wave Ventures, Lp (3.43%), and Steadview Capital Mauritius Ltd. (3.32%).

GMR Airports Block Deal

GQG Partners sold 16.3 crore shares, representing a 1.5% equity stake in GMR Airports, through a block deal worth ₹1,591 crore. The shares were sold at an average price of ₹97.75 apiece.

FMRC Fidelity Advisor Fund bought 14.93 crore shares in the transaction for ₹1,459 crore. As of March 2026, GQG Partners held a 5.23% equity stake in the company.

Promoters of GMR Airports held 66.33% stake in GMR Airports, while public shareholding was at 33.67%, as per data available on the stock exchanges.

Shares of Lenskart are trading 1.1% lower at ₹518.2. The stock is up 18% so far this year.

On the other hand, shares of GMR Airports are off opening highs, currently trading 0.2% higher at ₹98.4. The stock is down 6% so far this year.
