State-run defence electronics company Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has secured additional orders worth ₹1,011 crore since its last disclosure on February 25, 2026, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The Navratna defence public sector undertaking said the newly secured contracts span a wide range of systems, including communication equipment, radar warning and jamming systems, fire control systems, electro-optic sights, and fire detection and warning systems for fighter aircraft.
The orders also cover high-energy lasers, automatic train supervision systems, head-up displays, and software solutions. In addition, the contracts include jammers, shelters, strategic components, upgrades, spares, and services, further strengthening the company’s defence electronics portfolio.
Earlier this month, BEL signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with aerospace and defence interconnect solutions manufacturer SASMOS HET Technologies Limited to boost indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities.
The agreement was exchanged between BEL Chairman and Managing Director Manoj Jain and SASMOS CMD H G Chandrashekar, in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Q3 results
For the December quarter, BEL reported revenue of ₹7,122 crore, marking a 23.7% increase from ₹5,756 crore in the same period last year and exceeding the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹6,710 crore.
The company’s EBITDA rose 28% year-on-year to ₹2,117 crore, also surpassing the CNBC-TV18 poll forecast of ₹1,884 crore.
BEL’s board also approved an interim dividend of ₹1.95 per equity share for FY26. The dividend, declared on February 27, represents 195% of the paid-up share capital on equity shares with a face value of ₹1 each.
Shares of Bharat Electronics Ltd ended higher on Tuesday, March 17, by 2.29% at ₹439.35 on the NSE.
