Airbus delivered close to 50 jets in February

Airbus delivered around 49 aircraft in February, bringing the total for the year so far to 79, industry sources said on Monday.

The total leaves deliveries around 20% higher than the European planemaker's performance at the same point last year, which was marked by a particularly weak January.

Airbus declined comment ahead of the release of monthly data on Thursday.
