The All India Institute of Medical Sciences has announced the exam schedule for AIIMS NORCET 10 Recruitment 2026. The test is held for selecting Nursing Officers across AIIMS institutes through a national level eligibility exam.If you are considering applying, the main dates, eligibility rules, exam pattern, and salary details are already known. After the release of the notification, the online application form will be made available.

Candidates must complete registration online only. According to the annual calendar, the Stage I preliminary exam date is April 11, 2026. The result of the prelims is scheduled for April 16, 2026. The Stage II main exam is scheduled for April 30, 2026, and the final result is expected on May 11, 2026.

Separate admit cards will be issued for each stage.Eligibility criteria for AIIMS NORCET 10Applicants must meet age and educational requirements to appear for the exam.

The age limit is 18 to 30 years, with relaxation for reserved categories. SC/ST candidates are allowed five years, OBC three years, and PWBD candidates up to ten years. Additional relaxations apply for PWBD with OBC or SC/ST and ex-servicemen.Educational qualifications include B.SC. Nursing, B.SC.(HONS.) Nursing, Post-Basic B.SC. Nursing, or a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery.Candidates must be registered with the State or Indian Nursing Council.

Diploma holders also need two years of hospital experience after qualification.

Application fee and how to applyThe application fee is Rs. 3000 for General and OBC categories. SC, ST, and EWS candidates need to pay Rs. 2400. PWBD candidates are exempted from paying any fee. The fee is non-refundable. To apply, candidates must visit www.aiimsexams.ac.in, register with basic details, fill the online form, upload documents, and pay the fee using online payment methods.AIIMS NORCET selection process and exam patternThe AIIMS NORCET selection process includes two CBT stages. The stage I consists of 100 MCQ questions for 100 marks. There will be negative marking of one-third for wrong answers. The topics covered in the paper are general knowledge, aptitude, and nursing subjects.Stage II includes 160 MCQ questions from nursing courses.The exam duration is three hours, with similar negative marking rules.Salary detailsSelected Nursing Officers will be placed at Pay Level 7. The salary ranges from Rs.44,900 to Rs. 70,000 per month. Nationwide posts.
