At least 12 people were injured in a knife attack at Hamburg station in Germany on Friday evening. According to reports, three victims are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the local police confirmed they had arrested the suspected assailant.
Germany’s Bild newspaper reported that police is investigating the matter, but the motive behind the attack is still unknown.
Hamburg police in a post on X informed that a person was reported to have injured several people with a knife at the station and the suspect had been arrested.
Several reports claim that the person arrested was a woman.
The police said that a “major operation" is underway at the train station.
